GTRH Group, also known as Global Theme Park Resort Holdings, was officially registered in 2021 and started the theme park feasibility study about Korea in 2019. Their mission is to develop world-class theme parks and resorts, including various family attractions such as speed roller coasters, museums, water parks, aquariums, digital playgrounds, educational facilities, live entertainment events, and K-Culture.
GTRH is currently working on a major project called the Mega Theme Park & Resort City, which is expected to be completed before 2034 and for the grand opening of the entire theme park resort city by 2035. This project aims to be transformative for Korea as well as Asia, will bringing significant economic benefits through job creation and tourism. The development will feature America's Hollywood IP brand theme park, World Culture Valley, a variety of family attraction parks, and a smart resort city.
